Vitalia's Italian Restaurant respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
When you apply through our Career page we collect the details you enter in the form, such as your name, contact details, work rights, certificates, language skills and anything you tell us about yourself, along with your CV if you attach one.
We use this information only to assess your application, to contact you about it, and, if you are offered a role, to prepare your employment paperwork. We do not sell it and we do not share it with anyone outside our business, other than the email provider that delivers your application to our inbox.
We keep applications for up to twelve months so we can get back in touch if a suitable role comes up, then we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Deposits for functions are taken through Stripe, which handles the card details directly. Vitalia's never sees or stores your card number. We keep only the fact that a deposit was paid, the amount and the date, so we can apply it to your final bill.
Table bookings are handled by Carbonara and online orders by Square, each under their own privacy policies. If you email or call us we keep only what we need to answer you.
Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with our hosting and email providers. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email bookings@vitalias.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives on this page.
